1. Appointments & Booking

• Booking an appointment is free — no deposit is required.
• We will confirm your appointment via email or phone within 24 hours.
• Please arrive on time. Appointments more than 15 minutes late may need to be rescheduled.
• If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance.

2. Services & Pricing

• Prices listed on our website are starting prices and may vary based on hair length, thickness, and style complexity.
• Final pricing will be confirmed during your consultation or at the start of your appointment.
• We reserve the right to update pricing at any time without prior notice.

3. Payment

• Payment is due upon completion of service.
• We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payments (Zelle, Cash App, Venmo).
• Tips are appreciated but not required.

4. Hair & Scalp Health

• Please arrive with clean, detangled hair unless otherwise instructed.
• We reserve the right to refuse service if we determine that a style may cause damage to your hair or scalp.
• If you have any scalp conditions or allergies, please inform us before your appointment.

5. Satisfaction & Adjustments

• Your satisfaction is our priority. If you're not happy with your style, please let us know within 48 hours.
• We will make reasonable adjustments at no additional charge within this window.
• Refunds are not offered once a service has been completed.

6. Children

• Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
• We use gentle techniques for children and will stop if the child is in distress.

7. Personal Belongings

Vanessa's African Braiding Salon is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings left at the salon.

8. Photos & Social Media

• We may photograph completed styles for our portfolio and social media.
• If you prefer not to be photographed, please let us know before your appointment.
